FAQ
Q: Why are there not set prices for commissions?
A: Each commission is different and requires an in depth conversation to determine exactly what the client wants. I cannot offer an estimate until I know my required materials and have a decent idea of how much time it will take me to complete.
Q: If I commissioned you, would you ever distribute duplicates of the piece I paid you for?
A: Absolutely not!!! When you commission me you have my promise that I will not duplicate the work you commissioned. Commissions imply a one of a kind nature and I would never devalue my work or what you ordered from me.
Q: Do you offer payment plans if I cannot afford the art I’m interested in all at once?
A: Yes! I absolutely offer payment plans if you see something you’re interested in but cannot immediately afford. I just need to know before hand so that I can price it out for you and draft a contract.
Q: Why is your work priced the way it is?
A: I am extremely picky about my desired materials, and I do not rush projects. I pay myself for materials and an hourly rate.
Additionally I have a BA with a Minor in Digital Media and I cannot pay myself minimum wage.
Q: I’m interested in having something made but I don’t see an example on your website
A: Chances are I have made something of similar nature and am familiar with the medium. Reach out to me with any questions and I should be able to figure something out for you or direct you to someone who can.
Q: Why should I hire you as a graphic designer instead of doing things myself or going the cheap route?
A: I do not use stock graphics. Any work created by me is hand rendered and very carefully selected to fit YOUR aesthetic. I spent 4 years in art school, and have a minor in digital media (graphic design). I never rush projects. Branding is not something that can or should be done in an hour. Quick/cheap art is not quality and you will most likely have problems with legibility, and your branding looking extremely similar to anyone else’s who used the cheaper artist.
Q: I see something I want, but It's sold out
A: Contact me and I will see what I can do for you!
